That number is deceiving, though. His appearances are near the beginning, the middle and the end, so it feels like more. In fact, it is more than many of the other characters.

So that means his appearances are in 2-3 minute segments then? OK - that's definitely a YouTube type of thing for me! Just like I did for Smaug. That way I can see BC and not have to sit through a movie I have no interest in. I do totally get what you mean though, his "presence" is probably felt far more in the film that actual screen time! Maybe a testament to BC's effectiveness as an acting force (and to the clevernessof the writing)? He leaves an "aura" of the importance of what he has done, even when his scene is done! :-))

We know that he's not the star of this movie, but he's in it more than I was expecting. I thought this would be more like Thor Ragnarock, where he was in it at the beginning.

Oh wow, thanks for posting that mllemass ! I definitely felt like Doctor Strange was in the film a lot more, I'm quite impressed cause everyone on that list from Spiderman upwards I felt like were in it a decent amount. I was expecting to really notice how the inflated cast side-lines even important characters but the only ones (out of the main main characters, I mean!) I really took notice of, as in how limited their screen-time was, were Captain America, Black Widow, Black Panther and Bucky. They were barely in it at all! I think BC has very good screen-chemistry with RDJ and Tom Holland so basically all the scenes he is in work. Also the script helps in that he always has something actually important and/or fun to do. Like I thought there was way too much Wanda/Vision but they both have less screen-time than Strange!

I love that Doctor Strange has given people something to talk about! I have to say that I feel pretty good about coming to the same conclusion (sort of) as this guy, and I know almost nothing about this Marvel stuff. Of course, he and I could both be very wrong!
