Get ready for the Tumblr tantrum if real trans actors aren’t cast in the roles. Which I ecxpect they probably won’t be unless there’s a group of very talented real trans actors out there we haven’t heard of. Who knows, maybe there is and this could turn out to be a terrific career opportunity for them and a step forward for the industry.

I am really impressed and happy that SunnyMarch is forging ahead with its stated plans to provide many opportunities to many diverse voices. Ben and Adam are also really committed to their goals of giving woman a seat at the decision making table and expanding opportunities for a wide variety of stories. Sounds like a lot of very creative and talented people are eager to work with the SunnyMarch banner. Bravo Ben! Not only is he seeing his own dreams come true, but he is using his largesse to give opportunities for others creative dreams to come true too! As for the tumblr tantrum types... they are just mindless idiots who don't know their asses from a hole in the ground, so I am not going to pay them any attention! I hate that nowadays every good piece of news (about anything really) has to be met with some sour grapes gasbags who have a blog bitching about some "socially aware" point or another. Like with the "rescue" story - there's always some asshole griping about how he shouldn't have taken an uber! These numbnuts seem to want to suck the joy out of fucking everything! Or like PM, I just stumbled onto a Johnlock site by accident this morning and found ENDLESS moaning about how terrible Patrck Melrose is because it was all done from a rich, white, Male perspective and couldn't possibly be relatable to... you know, fill in the rest with every SJW issue going! Except for ONE commenter they all seemed to HATE IT THOROUGHLY!?! WTF!? :-))

People who judge art based in political positions are mediocre people with mediocre taste. That's all! They lost because the series and the books are wonderful.

I love how the septics are waiting to hear from Enty and other gossip blogs to decide what they have to think about the muggers episode. I also saw the tumblr post by the johnlocker but frankly the comments were mostly against it. I only saw 2 who hadn't even watched the series, one was a septic and the other a johnlocker who only likes Martin Freemman. She must be MFA from annashitter asks. One of the things I hate of tumblr (the least offensive) is that if you like an answer to a post that perhaps contradicts it your likke goes to the OP.

I'm going to remain optimistic and assume they will get a trans lead since it takes place in the modern day, is based on a book that is completely about a trans woman's perspective on life, seems to have the author involved in the making of it, focuses on one trans person as far as I can tell (so they don't need a sprawling cast), and is just a TV series that doesn't need star power. It's much better buzz for a show to say we got an actual trans woman than to say we got this actor that was on Downton Abbey or whatever.
