I don't think the clothes are that bad. I don't like the "scarf" and the shoes don't match with the clothes. But, look at this: Edit: I hadn't seen her from behind like here benedict-cumberbatch.freeforums.net/post/13000 It really looks like a pyjamas.

Wow! I can't even imagine that! I love purses, and I would carry one even if I had nothing to put in it. I guess I think of them as accessories. I actually gave an Ikea wardrobe just for my purses. When I moved to my current house, I found I no longer needed that wardrobe for clothing, so I filled it with my purses, instead. I love that I can open the doors and see them all. When I was Italy a few years back, I came back with a suitcase full of gorgeous purses. I don't spend a lot of money on them, though. I never spent more than $20 (Canadian) on any if my Italian purses. Well, I do have a few purses - one is a goldthread handbag I bought in Nagasaki Japan inspired by the art of Klimt (it is waaay too big and mainly whatever I put into it gets lost at the bottom), and the other is a very small leather Marc Jacobs purse that I adore (it is soooooo soft and even though I have used it a lot and punished it hard, there isn’t a bit of wear on the stitching!). The Marc Jacobs cost a ransom and I bought it in a hoity-toity fashion store in Paris but the quality of it is amazing and I use it for my “go-to” purse when I actually need one)! I also have an old one that is actually a tiiiiiny, little leather suitcase (that came with a matching leather shoulder strap). As well i have a couple of very small beaded evening bags that I RARELY use! They are works of art though and I just love looking at them. But lately I haven’t had the need for a purse (just that thing that carries my phone). I do HATE the colour of the phone holder thingy though and the cheap material that it is made of (within a week I had to stitch up a strap on it!!!) so if I ever see a really nice phone tote I will probably succumb to the lure of purchasing it! I really don’t have that many shoes either but like my purses I buy fairly expensive shoes (just fewer of them). Mainly I need very specific things in shoes (I have horrible foot problems with sores and my creaky bones) so Dan has always told me that money is no problem when it comes to quality footwear - he is always encouraging me to buy new shoes. Luckily there is a boutique shoe store that sells sinfully expensive European import shoes so I have become a patron of that place in the last couple of years! I have three pairs of shoes from there now - all beautifully made, fit like gloves to the hand and unique enough looking that many people ask me where I got my cool shoes from. :-))

Ha! That's always a problem with wearing loose, flowy clothes - epecially when they're a colour that could be pyjamas. I think this is more of that "baggy" trend that we've seen already on both Benedict and Sophie. I suppose this trend is a reaction to too many years of women wearing leggings everywhere! Her outfit is probably silk and very expensive, and I'm sure it looked better in person. I was thinking it was probably pure cotton or linen and that’s why you can see a few wrinkles in it. Linen is very expensive and yet it wrinkles if you look at it! Honestly to me the outfit doesn’t look excessively wrinkled - just “linen wrinkled” which is kind of like having something that has a “patina” about it and is a sign of wearing a quality garment. Things that don’t wrinkle have gobs of polyester or synthetic fibers in them - natural, organic, expensive materials doesn’t have any chemical based elements in them and so show their lines more easily. And I don’t know about the rest of you but the last time I wore full PJs, they had cowboys and ponies on them - they didn’t look ANYTHING like the style or material that Sophie is wearing! I’ll bet ANYTHING that Sophie doesn’t wear something that covers her up THAT much when she crawls into bed with Ben! If I were her I would ONLY wear what Marilyn Monroe wore to bed!!! LOL!! :-))

As as for what Sophie wears to bed with Ben, I have genuinely never thought about it.

Aha! I knew it - Sophie is carrying a purse in this video! So I guess there was an assistant nearby holding it as they entered. It's a clutch style, and looks fairly stuffed. The colour doesn't seem to go with the outfit. It looks white, but it might not be.
Well I feel better now, for some reason!

I just saw your post, Roverpup! Ha! LOL! I found this pix of the “appointed purse carrier” - This woman is directly behind Ben and Sophie when they enter the chapel in the video. I recognised her patterned jacket. :-))
