I don't know about the movie, but the advertising is pretty funny so far!

"This is the loudest snow I've ever heard in my life!" Ha!
There's lots of silly slapstick, but still adorable. His voice is interesting - sometimes it sounds exactly like Benedict, and other times it doesn't.
I cannot wait to see this!

I'm not one for animated films but I do really like this kind of silly humour! And I think the colour in this is gorgeous - so brilliantly done it almost glows!! I love BC's Grinch voice - it's him, but it isn't him! :-))

I made the mistake of reading some Twitter comments about this!
Most of the comments were positive. However, there were the usual whiners complaining about why we needed a remake. There were those saying nothing can be better than the "classic" Jim Carrey version. There were some defending the original cartoon.
There were some people wondering why they didn't have him use his own voice. But I think that if he sounded like himself, people would say that the Grinch sounded like Sherlock. And if he used a generic American accent, people would say that the Grinch sounded like Doctor Strange.
And I don't understand why people go onto to Twitter to announce they're not planning to watch it when it comes out. Who does that??

I've been on the fence about this movie and the Grinch's voice (In my head its deeper and less whiny LOL)
But I've got to admit I laughed out loud at this. The whipped cream, and his childish delight at seeing himself in the Max-drone camera only to be knocked over, and of course the "loud snow" - ha!

Minions drive me nuts, so I was a little apprehensive about this, but I did lol during this. The moose and the whipped cream! I love what Ben’s doing with his voice. This looks great!

I clicked on an article thinking it was a legitimate media website, but it turned out to be somebody's blog. She was enraged that they were making this movie and ruining the beloved Grinch story. She said that in this movie, Cindy-Lou Who is a crminal - a gang leader organizing the kidnapping of Santa Claus. What?? I looked up the official description of the movie, and all it says is that Cindy-Lou gets her friends to help her trap Santa Claus so that she can thank him for helping her over-worked single mother.
Did anyone else think it was going to be a kidnapping? I just thought that little Cindy-Lou, like all children, had never seen Santa Claus leaving Christmas presents, so she wanted to find a way to see him before he gets away. But maybe I'm wrong!

You know, there’s plenty to be outraged about in our world today. Do we have to get worked up over a cartoon movie? 🙄
Is anyone else experiencing outrage fatigue?
