Do you have a link? Did they tweet about it?
Edit: Now I see the tweet. Sorry for the questions.

I found this mention of the nominations on a site called The Verge - link
Here's the mention on the page - Oh, I just found the actual website of the Nebulas where the nominations are listed - here's the link... link
The information is the exact same as The Verge page. :-))

Never even heard of Nebula awards before. But that's kind of cool, that they have mixed categories for movies and TV! Or I assume so since Westworld is there with Dr Strange, Star Wars etc.

The two most important awards on Science Fiction and Fantasy are the Hugo and the Nebula. It is an important award. I thought what they awarded were the scripts but as they name the screenplay writers and the director I guess it is about how the script is translated into a movie.
I just read on wikipedia that there was a Nebula Award for Best Script for movie or tv episode but it was discontinued and replace by the "Ray Bradbury Award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation".
Your friend Moffat got 3 nominations for Doctor Who.

Your friend Moffat got 3 nominations for Doctor Who. Thanks for letting me know haha! I know about Hugo, remember GRRM (the author of the Game of Thrones novels) and Rowling winning some of those, but I generally don't really keep up with awards apart from the big ones (Oscar, Cannes and the likes) unless someone I follow is nominated. I think they award Hugos this year at Worldcon, it's in Helsinki. I've thought about volunteering there, could be interesting, cause I'm holding onto some delusional hope that GRRM will show up and like read a chapter from Winds of Winter.
