Amazon Canada is showing June 30 as the release date, so where will it come out in February?

I went to see it again this afternoon. I figured I’d be alone in the theatre, but I had forgotten that the kids are still off school. It was already a beautiful little movie, but I have to say that it gets even better with each viewing. I noticed so much more cute stuff this time (like the Grinch wore a different scarf/hat ensemble each time he went out. Ha!). And I paid more attention to the scenes during the end credits - which most viewers don’t stay to watch.
I picked up a copy of the new Cineplex magazine while I was there, and they list The Grinch’s DVD/digital release dates as the same as the above article posted. So why is Amazon different?

I'd like to say it thrills me to see your devotion and enthusiasm for this film! Animation isn't my thing but I really appreciate that others are captivated by many aspects of this movie and enthusiastic about supporting it by seeing it multiple times.
Bravo!
😁😍🤩

I just saw an ad for The Grinch DVD on tv! How exciting!
It was during Hoarders, for some reason, so they’re still placing those ads in the most unlikely places!

Ha! That’s adorable!
I asked my sister yesterday if she could order it for me the next time she buys something from Amazon (she shops there all the time), and she said she had already pre-ordered it!

I bought it in digital and finally watched it for the first time. I loved It! It was funny, cute and heartwarming, and of course Ben’s performance was perfection. I loved all the nods to other movies (Wizard of Oz, Citizen Kane), and Fred And Max stoke my heart. There was one point where I could *see* Ben in the Grinch, physically, and that was neat. Jeez, he’s talented. What a terrific, beautifully executed film to add to his oeuvre. Nicely done!

Good - someone agrees with me! I still don’t understand all the negative reviews. It really does seem like they watched a completely different movie. It ended up being very successful anyway, but imagine how many more people would have gone to see it if it had been reviewed properly!
