Kodi changed outfits for the Met Gala after party.

I think those clunky shoes and boots he likes to wear give him a bit of bulk because he’s so thin.

I'm sorry but his red, white and blue outfit looks... grotesque. I appreciate that he was going for something different and symbolic of "casual Friday" but when I first glanced at it I thought he had severe burns on his hands and arms!
His second outfit is still to out there but at least it looks semi-normal. The jacket is a nice colour.
I realise The Met Gala is supposed to be high fashion and very stylised but honestly, most of the outfit are just gag worthy. At least Sophie and BC's "costumes" were somewhat realistic.
It's like everyone's trying to wear a kitchen sink on their head and claim it's "fashionable"! What's next? Someone coming dressed up as a sequined urinal cake!

LOL, that is the funniest thing I have read all day!
I heard that the Met Gala organizers are annoyed that designers just send whatever outfit they feel like, rather than try to fit the theme, so there are whispers of only having pre-approvals for upcoming years.
PS. I really love the cut of Kodi's jacket. And, his boots look good with it.
The red gloves, though. Sweaty hands.

Has anyone been following the hoopla around Kim Kardashians dress? It was lent to her by Ripley’s. It’s Marilyn Monroe’s ICONIC dress from that evening when she sang Happy Birthday to JFK. An amazing dress, covered in like 20,000 hand sewn beads. KK had to wear a fur stole over her enormous rear end because they couldn’t zip it up.
Anyway, costumers and conservation people are having a cow because wearing it degrades the material, it’s so old and friable now. She did have to agree not to wear any makeup, perfumes, sticky stuff, etc., while she was in it, and she changed after the red carpet into another gown, but omg. How rude!
And so, in an ironic way, she actually hit upon the Gilded Age theme perfectly. A spoiled, entitled, rich woman buying exactly what she wants with no regard to history or to the importance of the item she appropriated. Fitting, don’t you think?

I think it takes a lot of nerve to wear a dress that Marilyn Monroe made famous - you’re just inviting comparisons! Marilyn looked fabulous, but the dress does nothing for KK. It’s just another skin-tight outfit the Kardashians wear all the time anyway.

Yeah, but don't forget that this dress is owned by Ripley's Believe It or Not, which is like a carnival sideshow, not a museum. They have this dress in the same building as weird taxidermied animals (like a two headed calf).
If society really wanted to preserve this dress, then it would be in a legitimate museum where it would be properly maintained and kept.
What bothers me more is that Ripley's gave KK some of MM's hair. That poor woman doesn't even have bodily autonomy after her death, let alone during her life. It is gross.
