I don’t doubt that Couch is questionable. He was appointed by Trump, after all. But, the events that take place in this movie need to be portrayed accurately, whatever that may be.

I just watched State of Play. I have been saying that Macdonald hired a long haired Rusell Crowne (he was working in Robin Hood at the same time) for the role at last minute and according to Wikipedia he spend three hours in make up hiring it but he still has long hair in the film! A horrible long hairdo! I wonder what they are doing with BC! The extra said his military cut looked real but the next day he is wearing his long curls in London!
I also wonder if he already finished it. The part Zachary Levi is doing is related with his character but we don't know if he also already finished his part, too or not (before being announced).
State of Play is entertaining but not great. It's based in a mini-series that I think I watched many years ago. It feels I little contrived probably because they have to reduce a long plot in just a pair of hours. There are a lot of familiar faces in small but all relevant little roles. I guess the casting will be similar in this.

I saw a tweet today that said that the movie had release date in Turkey in January 1st on Imdb.
I checked and it is right, the thing is if it is true.
On the tweet they were especulating with awards possibilities.
I hope the release date in US be in 2020.

Surely theaters and festivals will be back in business by the fall!

TBH a few days ago I was shocked that they were suspending Cannes. That's on May! I hoped this thing ended by then! At least in Europe considering they are at the peak right now! If that's the case there then what waits for us here in the American continent? I know, Trump said July or August but that's unbelievable! That's most of the year lost!
Moving events to the Fall sounds devastating to me!

There will be a number of waves of the disease, most likely.

It's weird because my country was the center of the H1N1 pandemic in 2009 but it felt very different then. It surely had/has a few waves. I know someone who was recently infected by it: it is still circulating here (although we have a vaccine now!) but at the time the quick response felt like it was slightly over the top and even with it didn't altered life so much as this new virus is doing it everywhere.
