Richard Ayoade is a comedian! Lol I haven’t watched him in a lot of things but he was in The Electric Life of Louis Wain with BC. Twitter recently tried to cancel him because he wrote a positive comment for the book blurb of an already canceled comedian! So guilt by association! (He is also the brother in law of Laurence Fox but that didn’t affect him, mainly because Fox himself publicly said that even when they are in friendly terms now, he doesn’t agreed with his ideas about race and that he wasn’t welcomed in a few familiar reunions because… well apparently his direct family preferred Ayoade!) The canceled comedian is Graham Linehan, a transphobe, a covid vaccine denier and other things. An awful person. He even blames transgenders for his wife leaving him instead of his awful views and deeds.
He was also the writer of the IT Crowd and Ayoade was one of the lead actors. I tried to watch it once and it's not my kind of humor. I remember IGS liked it. Same for Father Ted, like tired humor.

a “brilliant, effortlessly stylish” wife, three children, a new puppy I remember llminnowpea told us last year that he'd got a puppy! So cool to have it confirmed! Although, I cannot understand how celebs manage the logistics of these things. They travel so much! Does the puppy stay with a dog sitter? With their extended family? At home with the help? Do the kids have private tutors to travel with mum and dad, or do they stay with the grandparents so that school work isn't disrupted by trips abroad? It's an entirely different life! Edit: I know I'm not entitled to know any of that info(it's all so personal). I just like to ponder these silly details because it's a world away from my own life and I can't wrap my head around it. ___ Back on topic, I had hoped he would share what it was like to work with Wes, so I'm happy he has! He seems really good at connecting with his directors on a personal level. He spent quality time with Jane, too.

I want to know all that, too! I believe what he said long ago, that he’s not apart from the kids for a great length of time. So the kids travel with him if he has to travel (I’m sure the dog won’t be too traumatized by staying with a sitter).

Count on me to know who has what dog. LOL. I don't know how BC is handling a puppy, but now that I am in the Best In Show dog world (rather than just the dog training and performance sports world), I can tell you that a lot of competitors trade dogs around a lot. So many show dogs are co-owned by two people. And, those dogs are comfortable in many different homes - so the dog can be shown at different shows, so that the dog can be sent away if they need to be bred, so the dog can be sent away (like my current visitor) when the females in the house all go into season, etc etc. So, my assumption is that this now year old dog (so, now an adolescent, not a puppy) has multiple people who love him and take care of him. BC is so conscientious that I would expect no less from him. And, that he has staff to manage the logistics. But, I doubt the dog travels all over with them - there are certain quarantine requirements (and permissions) depending on the country, so why take the dog is it is going to spend the entire stay in quarantine? Plus, sooooooo much paperwork.

I would think they have staff to keep up their house(s), the dog is probably in one or two of those houses, and is looked after by multiple people. I would think, also, that the boys have a tutor to keep them up to date when they’re out of school and traveling with their parents. But now I’m wondering where their main base is. London? Isle of Wight? The farm? Do they have other houses?
I feel like I’m losing touch with knowing every little thing about the man, where he is on the planet at any given moment. Can I call myself a fan if I don’t know his exact gps coordinates anymore? 😂

It doesn’t help that people stopped doing interviews and talk shows during Covid, and now the Hollywood strikes. So there aren’t as many journalists writing about him (or about any other celebrities). Even if he wasn’t asked about where precisely he was living, some writer somewhere would have done a bit of research and told us about it.
We have suffered so much not knowing everything! Ha!
