At least, it seems they are working on the rules and informing beforehand,
It wasn't/still isn't very clear with the WGA strike!
It would be interesting which are the rules with non-American productions.

This is pretty bad,
I still think it’s ridiculous to make frivolous KK the villain of the strikes. She isn’t a “scab” and people should decide if is Murphy the villain for allegedly (ok, very probably defamed) forcing his crew and cast to cross lines or, for whatever reason, she is the lone responsible for something she isn’t the only one doing it when she isn’t the showrunner and, again, not even a writer.
Also apparently Drescher has a rival now for next election but…
WTF? Lol
I guess things are becoming very bizarre! I just hope not too many people are affected by these strikes. Especially, working class people and that it could be resolved quickly and in the fairest way.
EDITED,
This!

IMHO, this is the important issue and I’m glad actors are fighting for it,
Although it obviously affects more to powerful actors (and writers and directors) than to the humble ones. Maybe that’s the main reason behind that letter.
Still, writers centering on minimum numbers of writers which they think would help poor writers or writers that hasn’t have a break, is not good. Maybe there are good intentions behind it but it’s artistically damaging, lazy and probably illegal! They are practically demanding the hiring of people that are not needed and who probably won’t have any activities to do!
I thought the hardest issue would be the streaming residuals. Streaming services doesn’t have to reveal numbers so that’s a big problem to calculate gaining bit it seems it’s AI!

I think this is very important for foreign actors like BC although it’s not his case at all. He says his only imminent project is the very American A Complete Unknown for which he and the other actors were obviously hired under the SAG contract, It’s similar to what happened with “Eric” when they were shooting it in New York. Writers tried to protest it on the set but retracted when they were informed that it was a British production under a British contract (even when they were making it for Netflix). I have already seen one tweet saying that “Your Fave” (yep, she wrote that!) will be blacklisted if she or he works in a foreign country! Who are these people who randomly decide the rules? I guess that could happen in certain cases but if the BBC is filming something with, I don’t know, Hugh Grant, a British actor who is surely both a SAG member but also a Equity member, why would he be castigated if his contract wasn’t negotiated under SAG conditions because, you know, it’s a foreign guild in the UK? Still, I’m glad BC isn’t working in a BBC thing right now because just imagine the stupidity on Twitter! Lol There was an idiot who posted an “Eric” BTS photo and “denounced” that BC was shooting it for Netflix, fighting fans who told him that maybe ‘Eric’ wasn’t affected by the writer’s strike at all because it was a British production. He claimed that it was affected because BC is a SAG member (SAG wasn’t on strike! Actually, they demanded that their members didn’t abandoned projects) and they just could not work at all without the (British) writer on set who apparently decides things like if they would continue shooting if it’s raining or not! British series work completely different and Abi Morgan wasn’t a showrunner, by the way! That figure barely exist in the UK. It actually seems to me she wasn’t on set most of the time. After all, she was promoting her new book in the UK while they were shooting in both sides of the Atlantic! Anyway, the fans were proved right later. And Equity announcement was what it was predicted,
Actors hired under a British contract must continue working because they aren't protected from sanctions. The same what happened with "Eric" , although in that case it wasn't even the actors who were on strike!
There are already silly comments by people who more probably have never worked and doesn't understand how tragic is to lose a job! "Why they just don't support Americans?!" Anyway, SAG members were also contractually obligated to work and they also told their members that they should continue working during the WGA strike and that's why Kim Kardashian was never a scab!

According to this, actors can't do social media! I guess they are talking about promotion work but my first thought was about how the youngest actors would survive without social media! Lol
Obviously, writers never stopped using social media!

Bob Iger (CEO of Disney) taking lots of flack today for this interview, and rightly so.
