There you go! There are still plenty of good ideas to explore in new Sherlocks. Ha!

Twitter can be very influential I think. What some may consider just chatter on social media can and does instigate actions (both negative and positive). Just look at how many celebrities have been driven off social media because of harassment by "fans" ( some temporarily, some permanently). Creatives are human too and do feel it personally about hard, uncalled for criticism. Not always, but it affects different people with varying degrees of impact.
I know there were probably a lot of different factors that came into play when the decision to end the series was decided. But I do believe that the social justice "queerbaiting campaign" and creation of a Johnlock divide (along with the harassment of creatives, especially with the attempt to blackball them with the BBC) didn't do anything to make a conducive environment for a prolongation of the show.

Hahaha! But what about Mycroft? ๐ฅบ Heโs got to sleep with Lestrade, too!
Btw, I think that exact episode can probably be found on Pornhub, lol. ๐๐๐

I prefer any of these nutty ideas over possibly having a show with different Sherlocks in it, like that interviewer suggested. I donโt want Robert Downey Jr anywhere near our Sherlock.

Iโll add him to the orgy guest list. Might as well invite Anthea too to boost the number of females as Mrs Hudson has cried off because of her dodgy hip. And, oh heck, letโs have Janine along too.

All right, Ellie! Something for everyone, except those who ship Sherlock with MRS. HUDSON. Yes, that exists. Seriously, what is wrong with people? I guess there are folks who would ship him with a fly on the wall if no warm human bodies can be found. Wait, I think I read that fanfic already. ๐
Now itโs getting, uh, juicy. ๐๐๐

I donโt want Robert Downey Jr anywhere near our Sherlock. Me neither! Actually I'm not a big fan of RDJ at all, so to me his inclusion in any form would drag a movie down.

Sherlock is leaving Netflix Canada on May 15, and it makes me so sad. Itโs the only reason I even got Netflix. Itโs the end of an era!
Apparently Netflix only โrentsโ programs for a certain amount of time, and the time has expired.

I have the Bluray set of all the episodes so this is interesting news but I haven't watched Sherlock on Netflix in years. It makes total sense for Netflix to wean itself off of "rental" series. It's expensive for them and they have limited rights. When they plow $$$ into Netflix original stories (like TPotD) they own them outright and get all the profits. Just good business sense. They ran the show for a VERY long time. In fact - thank you Netflix for bringing Sherlock as long as you did! ๐๐
