Okay, I saw it this weekend and unless I dozed off, Loki and DS never had a scene together...? DS only had one scene that I saw.

You must have blinked. Loki came through the portal and complained that he’d been falling? DS did that. It was about 5 seconds, if that. 😜

I liked the film. It made me laugh a ton so that's great. Jeff Goldblum's character is probably now one of my favorite MCU characters of all time lol. I think he counts as a villain, so hey, good on you MCU. The movie did feel like it belongs in the Deadpool universe rather than "MCU proper" but who cares. Benedict's cameo was pretty cool and while short it wasn't like super short. I loved Valkyrie, and Loki of course, and Hulk actually fit the story a lot better than I feared! The Revengers, hah, I prefer them to The Avengers.

I'm planning on seeing it today with a friend who likes those kinds of movies. I just checked, and the theatre near me is showing it 16 times today, but only one of those screenings is non-IMAX and non-3-D. That's the one we're going to see.

So I went to see it today - and I didn't hate it! It's a whole lot better than Guardians of the Galaxy, which I've tried to watch more than once. I'm still not fond of these kinds of movies, but there was enough dialogue to keep my interest and to balance out all the action. I liked the soundtrack - especially the Willy Wonka music! I think I'm the only one in the audience who recognized it - I feel so old!
I liked Cate Blanchett and Mark Ruffalo, and the guy made of rocks. Tom Hiddleston was ok. Jeff Goldblum was Jeff Goldblum! I didn't recognize Anthony Hopkins or Karl Urban until the very end. And I didn't recognize Idris Elba at all. I didn't mind Chris Hemsworth, but I also didn't find anything special about him. He looks good, though.
Yes, Doctor Strange does have a scene with Loki! It was so nice to see Benedict, even if it was for a short scene. Maybe I'm biased, but he seemed to add a little class to the movie. In fact, he adds class to anything he's in.
