It finally showed up on iTunes! Yay!
It's a fabulous interview - an hour of Benedict using words in a beautiful way. He turns speaking into a work of art. I love the way he does spot-on impressions of people when quoting them - I don't think he even realizes he's doing it. He's amazing!
I love him even more after listening to this, if that's even possible.

Mllemass can I ask just how you get to hear this? I went to my iTunes app and I couldn't find anything current for BC. There was an interview on BBC 4 but it was from 2014 and I found lots of Cabin Pressure which I already have.

I didn't get anywhere with the link from Twitter, so I typed in Scott's name and it came up. Haven't listened to it yet, but it's downloaded! For some reason it's not listed under Ben's stuff.

I just heard it and Feinberg is a great interviewer but I was slightly disappointed that he didn't talk about his future projects! Feinberg asked him but he said that as producer he has learned not to talk about them! Not even Patrick Melrose which he is filming right now! Bastard! 😉 Also he said his purpose is now to work with great directors and that they know who they are (suggesting he has talked with them) which I think it's great. IMO that's what his movie career needs. He has show that he has talent and that he can be a leading man on the big screen but he needs take the next step and doing really great cinema now.
Also interesting, his complementary words to Weinstein mixed with comments about how disorienting is to do an Oscar campaign (and how he needed to remember the real important thing is the work and not THAT), and an anecdote of him giving him a bad time for sitting with 12 years a Slave actors instead of August: Osage County cast in the SAGs. He also do an impression of him, of course!
And apparently the Dr. Strange contract is really good!

Is there something you have to add besides the name of Scott Feinburg? When I put that into google all sorts of Awards Chatter interviews came up (none seemed to be about BC) and when I added BC's name to SF some old TIG interview came up. Or am I misunderstanding you - do I put in Scott F's name in iTunes?  Oh and when I tried to use the link in the twitter post given I got nothing- just a blank screen.... ?? :-)) |

I typed in Scott's name in the search window, and then the THR Awards Chatter podcast came up. First one on the left. Download that one. Let me know if it works. 😃
