Actually the male zealot was the one with the biggest scene because he has a huge fight with BC and DS ends killing him and regretting it.
Tabloids are disgusting and they are indeed trying to “involve” BC simply because he is the biggest name in the DS movies (I kinda remember that photo, I think she posted it on social media and was happy as a fan with it!). If there’s something positive about it is that I have seen a lot of people angry at the tabloids for using his name and image. Just one person believed it was him and the dumb guy was quickly corrected.
On the other side, you have the conspiracy theorists type that are convinced Disney is a pedophiles company because she worked for them (the whole 5 minutes!). They are indeed the ones calling her “star”
They aren’t even actors but “martial artists”. That’s why she and the other zealots didn’t have any line!

Those tabloids are being extremely malicious, that’s for sure!
It’s incredible how, in particular, the DM is constantly searching for negative stuff about him (and always failing!). And the reason seems to be he doing speeches asking for donations to help Syrian kids! Since then, they just consider him an enemy.
And on the other hand, you have The Guardian stupid opinion writers who hate him for being posh! So bizarre!

I’m bothered that TH is trying to sound like one of us - a member of the public reading about these allegations and being shocked, like “Hey, I’m just as surprised as you are!”.
The articles keep mentioning that the kids’ parents weren’t present and didn’t consent to what their children were asked to do. But why does that matter? I’m pretty sure that you can’t consent to a crime. And they also keep mentioning that the mother has been trying to get money from TH for years, so this is just another attempt. Again, even if they were terrible parents and consented to everything and were just after money, it doesn’t mean that TH didn’t commit a crime.
I’m thoroughly disgusted that anyone would use children to create their comedy. I’ll take that Harry Styles/Chris Pine drama any time!

I think this is horrible and I hope the family involved gets justice,
But the second horrible part of this is the awful witch hunting on social media! I don’t know which it’s the best way to manage this but, as always, people is behaving in a horrible way on Twitter,
Also The Independent is left-wing but I remember that the right wing press did the same to BC after that martial arts woman, who had a small role in Dr. Strange, was arrested for sexually assaulting a girl alongside her husband. They used BC’s photo suggesting he was the “Dr. Strange actor accused…” or the rapist husband of the woman. BC is more internationally famous than most BBC presenters but there were still a few who really believed or even wished it was him!
And that’s another issue: I saw a “feminist” yesterday lamenting that the accused “BBC presenter” wasn’t clearly the person she really wanted to be! And when she was confronted about it by someone, she couldn’t understand what was wrong with her vile way of thinking!

I guess the Independent changed their article, not wanting to invite a lawsuit. They do need to be taken to task for this kind of irresponsible reporting.

It seems to have turned into a game. There's a checklist circulating with various names, and the ones who have spoken out have been crossed off. People are having fun guessing and adding names to/crossing names off this list, but they're forgetting that there are real humans involved and their reputations (which are their livelihoods) are being affected. |

My friend just sent me to a link to that Tattle site and there's quite a discussion about this going on there. I thought it was limited to twitter but it seems to have caught on everywhere. I remember that site from the Will Smith slap because I saw a thread on that at the time. It says it's a site for public figure gossip and I now want to know if there's a thread on BC, but unfortunately there's no way to search it. Is anyone here active there? Do they have a BC fan thread or do they just talk about current controversies?
(I know I've gone off-topic, sorry, but I want all the BC content I can get, lol)
Edit: managed to search it via google and there are no BC fan threads that I can find. He is mentioned a few times in other threads, but unfortunately there are no discussions about his projects!
ETA 2: That site has 51 threads on Schofield!!!! I don't dare peek. I already got burned reading speculation about that and I won't fall for the trap again. But it really does make you think. On the one hand, we're able to have a lot more abusive people held to account thanks to social media, but on the other, you've got these witch hunts that get wildly out of control and ruin reputations based on speculation and "gut feelings". I'm not sure how we ever find a middle ground because it's just too easy for echo chambers to form.
