It looks quite a reasonable sized shed to me.

I think I read a rumour a long while back that they had an apartment (or condo) somewhere on the island but no location was specified, and it didn't say they had bought it outright. They could have been just leasing or renting something? The island isn't that big so you could have an apartment/condo in East Cowes or Newport and easily be in the Mottistone area in a half an hour. We took the public bus from East Cowes, which made many stops along the way, and it took less than an hour to get to Brighstone (which is very close to Mottistone). Love that pic of Mottistone Manor! I have actually stood on that very spot!! And we took a long walk through the surrounding forest and looked out on the entire countryside (from the hill where the Viking Longstone is). Beautiful area! VERY peaceful and bucolic! The area isn't in the touristy area of the island (that's more located on the southeast side) so I would have to think that would be one reason why the family might be considering to build a permanent home there. Life is very laid back and slower paced. I loved being there! :-))
