Also I think the woman in blue in the posh dinner scene is Princess Margaret. I don’t know who is the actress. I think that Celia Imrie is one of the ladies in the pool scene (when BC jumps with the kid in his arms). The others are Anna Madeley, Jessica Raine and the girl who plays Julia’s daughter, I guess.
Maybe Imrie is playing the mother-in-law.?

Someone commented on You Tube that he struggles to say the swearwords and it made me laugh! We all idealized him a little but go to hear any freestyle interview or podcast! The guy is very foul mouthed in real life!

Who said that on Youtube? BC is extremely “sweary” in real life. I very much doubt he’d have difficulty reproducing that on screen. 😀

A comment under the trailer. I guess she is American or at least non-British because she thinks he is "struggling" because he is "a British man"

I would say BC is “sweary” in certain circumstances. Occasionally he has let some stuff slip but I don’t immediately think of him swearing when I picture him talking, so I don’t classify him as someone who is “foul mouthed”.
That being said, I had to laugh in that recent TIFF interview when they asked him about a word that he thinks is overused and I could practically see him stop himself from saying the word “fuck” (which seems to be his favourite swear word) and just say “um” instead!
I don’t think he is any more foul mouthed than me... 🤔 😝! And I’m an old lady!
:-))

Ha, sounds like someone who has formed an image based on his roles. Probably thinks he is an uptight, oddball genius in real life, when we all know he cusses like a sailor!

When he was promoting Parade's End he did this press event in which journalists, who weren't still very familiar with him, were saying on Twitter not just how charming he was but also how surprisingly foul-mouthed, friendly, open, easygoing and funny (he is not like Sherlock at all!). Sadly, some out of context quotes were taken from that same event and later used against him by the press during a first wave of backlash. For example, his infamous "Downtown Abbey is *expletive*". Apparently he was joking. At the time a journalist offered privately the complete transcript to fans and they said it was clear he was joking (I never read it, tho.) and more recently a The Telegraph writer said she was there and quotes were indeed misrepresented (it's a very complementary article so here it's: www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/theatre/11003309/Benedict-Cumberbatch-a-Hamlet-worth-waiting-for.html The thing is he learned from that experience and become more "reserved" in that regard. He sometimes in comfortable environments lose it and it seems to me shows his most easygoing side in all his foul-mouthed glory but he's more careful nowadays so yes, he is not foul-mouthed in ALL situations but when he is it seems very natural. Just watch Sherlock's bloopers!

I think he swears a LOT in real life but obviously knows when to reign it in. In some professions and some cultures swearing is pretty commonplace and no big deal. Many “creatives” swear like troupers and BC is no exception.
Likewise in some countries swearing is not frowned on in the way it seems to be in the U.S. In Ireland the word fuck is used on a regular basis by pretty much everyone!
I genuinely once heard a collegue say “well that fucking fucker can fuck right off” & the only comment passed was to congratulate him on the variety of ways in which he used it gramatically in the same sentance!

There have been studies done that show intelligent people swear more. ☺️ Or, as Spencer Tracy said in Inherit the Wind (paraphrased), “I don’t swear just for the hell of it! Language is a poor enough means of communication, we ought to use all the words we have.”
