I just re-watched Bad News. How did Benedict not get nominated for - and win - every award?? His performance is spectacular.

I’ve watched the whole thing about 25 times. It is amazing, spectacular, the whole thing, acting, directing, editing, music, cinematography...
It’s a CRIME it won so few awards. Send Sherlock to investigate!

I just read that Patrick Melrose is coming to Amazon Prime. So that's more exposure for this most excellent work of BC's! 😁😁😁

That's great news! I can finally see it someplace besides my computer screen!

There are lots of positive comments to David Nichols’ tweet!
One person said they didn’t “take to it” because they didn’t like Patrick Melrose (the character). So I suspect that they only watched the first episode and gave up. That was a problem with the series, and also with the books. Each episode and each book was so different from the others. That first episode was definitely hard to watch, and the book was hard to read. It was the second book, though, and not the first. When I read it, I knew that the change in style meant that the others to come would probably also be different styles. So I stuck with it! When I recommended it to people, I urged them to stick with it, too, no matter how difficult some episodes were to watch.
