Why is the line for TPOTD a different colour than the rest? Also is there any way you can make the last two posts' graphics expandable? Thanks. 😊 First question: I think it is because I was on The Power of the Dog page. If you scroll down (I'm on a laptop) there it is a "Best of 2021" list.
The picture of BC I took it from this:
in December.
I just took screenshots.

I went to the Nielsen site and it’s beautiful to see the film on top in the film list, www.nielsen.com/us/en/top-ten/People are watching it! It’s a crowd pleaser! 😉

That gets a little messy, don’t you think? Comcast, my accursed provider, opened up all streaming platforms for a week last week, so I could watch a bunch of stuff I don’t have as a streaming service. Who gets “credit” for those hours?

This data comes from a third party, Samba. I don’t know which it’s their methodology but I guess it’s similar to Nielsen.
Anyway, I think TPOTD did great, it’s the third film more popular behind Don’t Look Up (a comedy full of mega stars) and Dune. Spielberg, Will Smith, Del Toro and the “little film that could” CODA are all behind it with the totals and even when it wasn’t a new release on streaming like Nightmare Alley and WSS, it did pretty well during that period (obviously helped by the number of nominations)
Also, it shows how CODA hype is only a thing in certain quarters. It’s a lie that it’s more popular than TPOTD. Almost no one has watched it but still people on social media claims that TPOTD is the film no one has watched!
