Deadline describes it like a"superhero thriller"!!!
Well, anything to sell it! Lol
EDITED The comments by general people (not BC's fans who already read the book!) think it's a new version of Highlander! Lol TBF the summary by Deadline sounds odd.

It's kinda funny that because Studiocanal is actually a French studio, the only territory it has already secured it's France. Not even the UK!
The series is a French production.
Surely, international companies will fight for the rights anyway.

Found this - "Canal+ will air “How to Stop Time” in France, throughout Africa and in its six territories in Eastern Europe. Beyond the Canal+ footprint, Studiocanal will look to take the series onto the open market."

Yes, they own Canal+. They are selling it to the territories in which they don't own channels.
It will be interesting to see who buy it in America and the UK.

And the day after the announcement, the “bad” Alfredson movie goes trending on Netflix and commented on Twitter!
I haven’t watched it but they mainly claim it was intelligible. I remember that TTSS was accused of that but in this case it seems it was because they couldn’t film everything and had to edit the movie with the incomplete material they had.
The reviews were really bad and it affected both Fassbender and Alfredson careers. I hope the director could make a big return with this series. I’m sure StudioCanal wouldn’t make the same error!
