That’s wonderful.
I have seen all of those noms in that category and hands down Sherlock is the top one for sure to me.
I absolutely hated the episodes of black Mirror that I saw (it was so juvenile in its approach), disliked a large portion of Fued (there were some good performances but it was counterbalanced by a lot of so-so writing) so those are completely out of their depth IMO.
Fargo was good but not up to the other seasons standards. Wizard of Lies was very good but Sherlock was just better.

I'd like to see Fargo, but haven't had a chance. Isn't Martin Freeman in it? So he has two shows in this category.

Martin Freeman was in Fargo two seasons ago. He isn’t in the most recent season (nor in last season either). So I take it he is only in the cast of Sherlock for these awards.

Variety is predicting that Feud will win.
Since this is a Producer's award, does that mean that Sue Vertue will win it? (If it wins, of course)

I thought Feud was very uneven. It had a couple really powerhouse moments, and SS was perfection as Bette Davis, but it did tend to wander. It lost its steam after they got done filming Baby Jane

Technically, he was in S2 of Fargo as Narrator. I haven't seen S3 yet.

BC is nominated in the SAGs And Alexander Skarsgard won which was predictable. I think he has won all the awards for this performance! Hopefully next year Patrick Melrose could be so popular with awards like Big Little Lies. The Child in Time is wonderful and it has undoubtedly one of the best BC’s performances ever but it’s very low key so I don’t think it’s award stuff. Patrick Melrose looks huge, tho.!

I think Skarsgard was the weak link in BLL.
I’ve read comments from SAG voters recently and most them haven’t seen most of the movies or tv shows in competition and claim to vote for people whose performances they’ve never seen. I think SAGhas over 100,000 members. It’s ridiculous.

It’s very common, tho.! I remember that during the Twelve Years Slave year there were rumors that there were people who voted for it without actually seeing it (“it seemed to depressing”) but it was an “important” movie that people were raving about! Ironically two years later it happened the #OscarsoWhite campaign!
Also one critics association (The Critic’s Choice?) was criticized by some of its own members because again Twelve Years a Slave, which is a great film, won the main award but it hadn’t been screened for them so it was suspected most members hadn’t watched it yet.
I haven’t watched Big Little Lies but I understand he won everything (GG, Emmy and now this) so he was the favorite. BLL is winning big tonight!
